The Covid 19 pandemic has harmed most people, including the economy, since its arrival in the year 1019. In New Jersey Union County, the number was confounding. More than 16,00 individuals were infected by the virus, including both children and adults. In addition, more than 1,300 people were reported dead (Álvarez-Antonio et al., 2021). The pandemic was considered one of the most dangerous fatalities ever reported in quite a long time. The nature of the pandemic was overwhelming in the case that it put tension on most of the institutions, including the healthcare in the county, which had limited resources to curb the virus. Social distancing was put into action to prevent excessive contact with people to avoid spreading the virus. The county, including other parts of the world, resulted in purchasing personal protective equipment, which resulted in a shortage due to the demands. The lack of protective gear was considered one of the most astonishing and worrying problems since New Jersey is regarded as an over-populated area that could be prone to a higher rate of transferring the virus from one person to the other.
The student and the preceptor have chosen one of the following topics for the next Capstone Change Project.
I. The facemasks usage mandatory effect of enabling prevention of the spread of the covid 19 virus.
II. The mandatory regulation of social distancing enables curbing the spread of the virus from one person to the other.
