Factors Promote Achievement Motivation

Growing up, I always saw the good in people and thought of improving them. I have always shown my appreciation for people's efforts towards realizing better versions of themselves through donations and campaigns, ensuring that individuals participate in activities and professions of their interests. However, a couple of months ago, I decided to take a different orientation towards ensuring that people have better versions of themselves. I decided to find my way into being a public speaker to enable me to reach a wider audience. Until now, I have made several steps and achievements, and some factors have all been critical in achieving some objectives and pursuing the unaccomplished objectives about goals (Indeed Editorial Team, 2022). The review below presents some of the factors critical in promoting achievement motivation of my public speaking objectives and my desire to excel.

The need for achievement is one of the critical factors for achievement motivation. The need for achievement refers to an internal drive and feeling to achieve. The need for achievement is often accompanied by setting individual objectives that need to be accomplished within a given time frame. The designation of objectives offers accountability for every time spent engaging in different activities. For my desire to be successful as a public speaker, I always needed achievement. I presented it by setting o objectives such as having a minimal number of people reached within a given time frame. The objectives ad goals ensure that I was always on my toes to find new people to encourage and motivate, which is evidence of accountability (Indeed Editorial Team, 2022). Through the objectives, I had the opportunity to achieve several objectives, which indicated progress.

Expectancy is another factor that is critical in achievement motivation. Expectancy is the belief that an individual's efforts control destiny. I have for a long time followed Steve Harvey's motivation and therefore believe that meritocracy pays off. Individuals aware of the expectancy factors are not afraid of experiencing mistakes through their projects and drives. For example, in my persuasion to be a significant public speaker, I always expected the best to come. Although I experienced several challenges, such as rejection from others, I remained oriented toward my long-term goal of pushing forward to be a good personal speaker (Indeed Editorial Team, 2022). Adherence to expectancy led to the gain of more experiences and a wider grasp of the career.

Competitivity, self-assurance, and tenacity have also been recognized as essential components of accomplishment motivation. Competitive people want to succeed and excel. They are not content with coming in second. They continuously work to enhance their performance. Self-ident people have faith in their abilities and potential for success. They do not hesitate to take chances. Persistence and never giving up are traits of the determined. Even when things are difficult, they continue (Николова, 2017). Through my pursuit of being a professional speaker, I ensured that I was competitive and self-confident in whatever function or event I had a chance to perform. The competitiveness and self-assurance instilled the self-belief perspective.

Each of these elements influences motivation for accomplishment. People who are driven to succeed have a higher chance of doing so than those who are not. They are the ones who bring about events.

Conclusion

In conclusion, achievement motivation depends on several factors. Some factors will positively affect the achievement motivation, while others will affect the opposing perspective. Some factors that will ensure the success of achievement motivation are competitivity, self-assurance, tenacity, need for achievement, and expectancy.
