Solution
Program of Integrative Medicine At Jefferson
I am thinking about pursuing a master's degree in integrative medicine at Jefferson to further my education. My ultimate aim in life has always been to bring changes in medicine and obtain a degree from an approved institution so that I may help individuals recover from surgical procedures or recalls. Following other people irritated my curiosity and made me want to understand more about my surroundings and those who live there. To be prepared for any medical procedure that may come my way, I want to learn more about this program. The more I can study, the more ready I am to use what I have learned in real-world situations. My interest in integrative medicine is piqued when seemingly unconnected topics are brought together to provide a more comprehensive picture.
Instead of concentrating on the treatment itself, I have always prioritized making sure patients can recover fully after surgery. Being a prominent integrative medical professional has always been my ultimate ambition in life so that I may serve as many people as possible. Since I have completed a growing number of assignments on operation, it is apparent that my interest in the subject is increasing. As an internist, I believe that I will be better equipped to carry out my responsibilities by completing this course. Also, as a future internist, one of my deepest concerns is to ensure the short- and long-term health goals of patients who have undergone surgical procedures are met. Because of this, I expect that my involvement in this program will substantially impact my academic and professional aspirations in the future.
I am motivated to become an internist by the desire to help those who are less fortunate receive the best care possible. As a child, I was inspired by my mother's account of her tremendous pain due to a surgical procedure she underwent in the early 90s. I was reliably informed that my mother had been taken to the hospital and that she would need emergent abdominal surgery. She claimed to have called to share the good news with me. However, because she was asleep during the surgery, she was on the verge of death. Her recall of the event is limited to the surgical blade cutting into her abdomen and the subsequent loss of consciousness she felt as a result.
Internists' responsibilities and obligations have been studied extensively to prepare for this goal. I hope integrative medicine will not surprise me throughout anesthesia's induction, maintenance, and emergency phases with a demand for incredible skill and keen abilities. While shadowing integrative medicine in developed and less developed nations like Africa and the United States, I have been encouraged to become a Certified Registered Internist. However, I can not help but think about the negative consequences of a lack of knowledge, infrastructure, equipment, supplies, and drugs among economically disadvantaged groups while observing the internist at work.
As a degree holder, I have been responsible for ensuring that patients who underwent surgery recover in a timely way and at their full capability utilizing the equipment that is uniquely my responsibility. Additionally, I have had the privilege of assisting members of my community undergoing minor surgical operations due to my work with an anesthetic group. I have improved my abilities as a result of this experience. Many group projects have shown my ability to work well with others. Learning to deal with a wide range of people and situations helped me improve my ability to interact with other patients and communicate effectively. In addition, I am pretty proud of my professional achievements and ability to work successfully with a wide range of patients.
Other than that, I have participated in other community health programs, including those hosted in my community's healthcare, where I provided health information and immunization to the general population. In addition, with the help of a local humanitarian organization working to improve the lives of my society's less disadvantaged residents, I raised money and purchased personal safety equipment for medical workers afflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic. My tremendous desire to help others in need has motivated me to learn more about the human body's complicated workings and the most effective pain management methods and anesthetic use. As time passes, I aim to be in a position where I can give back to others. Thus, I want to become an excellent internist so I may protect individual patients and the broader population from the dangers of medicine. Therefore, when I decided to pursue a career in integrative medicine, I did not choose to enroll in the Thomas Jefferson anesthesia school by accident.
