After the consultation, the nurse practitioner will document and submit a bill for the appointment using the MTBC ICD 10 Consult app. When looking for a diagnosis code, the nurse practitioner is aware that she can either use a section or a description of the diagnosis to locate it. Alternatively, she can use both. The application will only be used throughout the billing process and will not impact the current state of affairs.
