 Review of All Theories/ Theorists

Bruner's learning theory is one of the best approaches I could use in the classroom. This theory has direct implications for teaching practices because it makes me aware of learners' learning modes as an instructor. Understanding learner learning mode will make my plan and prepare appropriate materials to meet every learner's classroom needs. Based on the theory, learning is an active process that makes the learners select and transform information. Thus, using it in teaching will enable me to meet the students' need for learning because it needs a teacher to revisit materials that can enhance knowledge. More importantly, this theory is concerned with the knowledge representation to the learners in a significant way but organized through different modes of thinking. In addition, applying this theory in classroom teaching will make me involve learners in constructing their knowledge using a coding system. It is an effective theory in teaching because it makes the learners to be involved in learning. As it explains that the role of a teacher is not teaching but rather facilitating the learning process. Thus, as a good teacher, I will design my lesson to help the learners discover relationships between bits of information.

One of the theorists of teaching I identify most with is Jean Piaget's one of the significant constructivists in history. The reason identifies this theorist most is because he looks at how people construct knowledge cognitively. More importantly, it indicates that people can build their knowledge through assimilation; thus, teaching can make learners incorporate new information and knowledge into pre-existing schemes. It always makes the learners learn from what they see in real life.

In addition, Waldorf education, also known as Stainer education, is a method of teaching that strives to develop learners' artistic, practical, and intellectual skills in a holistic and integrated manner. The use of this method in teaching is vital because it engages the student's heart, head, and feeling in doing what is necessary. More importantly, this teaching method is much different from others because it educates all children regardless of religion and cultural background. Furthermore, children are always considered immersed in the environment to learn practical activities in the first years of learning.
