Solution
Health Issues in Climate Change
People and the natural world continue to talk to one another daily. Not only do these interactions affect the health inequalities that may already be present, but they also affect the quality of life of the individual who is being considered. According to the research done by the World Health Organization (WHO), there is a correlation between a person’s environment and how they are currently maintaining their health. The term “environment” refers to all external influences, such as physical, biological, and chemical components, and the behaviors associated with those factors. It also includes everything that is considered to be part of the environment. These components can be further subdivided into the following categories: chemical, biological, and physical. Therefore, environmental health encompasses not only the management and prevention of illnesses, incapacitations, and injuries but also the management and prevention of any interactions between humans and the settings in which they live. This involves the management and prevention of injuries in addition to the treatment and prevention of illnesses. This also includes the treatment and prevention of illnesses. It is hoped that the research will help address some of the concerns that have been voiced about the state of the ecosystem and provide some light on the subject.
The 2009 American Clean Energy and Security Act is one such bill, which was later enacted as legislation in the same year. Suppose the energy plan currently being discussed in the Senate is ultimately passed. In such a scenario, the quantity of greenhouse gases released into the environment throughout the US would be reduced. This reduction will take place nationwide (Ashrafuzzaman & Furini, 2019). The regulation applies to any businesses that release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Acquiring credits and entitlements will be necessary for individuals between the years 2012 and 2050 for them to be permitted to take part in the controlled reduction of their greenhouse gas emissions. This reduction will take place between the years 2012 and 2050. Because they take place on a national scale and are caused by the fact that there are businesses that release carbon dioxide all over the United States, emissions of greenhouse gases have an impact on the entire population. This is because companies do this kind of thing all over the country. How climate is moving can provide an undeniable indication of the effects that greenhouse gases have.
Problem Statement
Changes that occur over time in the regular pattern of precipitation and temperature observed in a given region are called “climate change.” The term “climate change” was coined in the 1970s to describe these adjustments. Changes in weather and the environment have traditionally had a deleterious effect on people’s health. However, climate unpredictability and the rise in frequent calamities endanger human health (Ravindra et al., 2019). In addition to steadily rising temperatures, extreme weather events such as storms and hurricanes pose a threat to essential services such as the provision of potable water, the management of surface water runoff, and the disposal of waste from humans. These threats are exacerbated by the fact that temperatures are steadily rising. As a result, individuals must act to avoid the severe consequences of climate change. The government should enact legislation to reduce pollution levels for a clean environment.
Suggestions for Addressing the Health Issue
In the face of mounting fears about general population health as a result of climate change, the government will almost certainly pursue one or more of the following possible strategies: Recent changes in the weather might be attributable to a combination of environmental factors. This is a distinct possibility. Pollution will rise by 5.80 degrees Celsius in the atmosphere's average temperature by the end of this century, according to IPCC projections (Patz & Frumkin, 2016). While research on climatic exposures is being carried out, there should be a focus on people’s health and inclusion of the findings of climate model research into research on people’s health; this focus should include both of these aspects. This focus should also have both of these aspects. We must employ national assessments to keep an eye on climate change for the sake of this mission's success. Developed and developing nations should consider the consequences of climate change, with a particular emphasis on those who are especially vulnerable to its effects (Patz & Frumkin, 2016). It is crucial to impose uniformity on the research methodologies and clinical processes utilized in measuring the impact on people’s health, as this will help ensure accurate results (Patz & Frumkin, 2016). There needs to be a deliberate effort put into collecting and evaluating data in this area so that measures can be put in place addressing how climate change’s effects are consistently affecting people’s health. These programs need to be able to handle how people’s ability to live healthy lives is being negatively impacted by climate change. As a direct result of the fact above, each nation should make it a top priority to ensure that the level of surveillance capabilities within its borders is sufficient to meet the requirements that the people of that nation have established. Education and awareness for the general people of climate change and the consequences it will have on adaptation. It is of the most significant importance for the human population to find means to minimize this phenomenon’s impact, given that climate change is already a cause for concern. In light of this fact, finding ways to lessen the impact of this phenomenon is of the utmost importance. There is the possibility for all of the adverse effects on health to experience a significant attenuation, provided that the requisite procedures for adaptation and execution are followed to carry out the necessary actions. A wide variety of factors, including the state of the economy, the density of the population, and the nature of the neighborhood’s environment, can all affect humans’ susceptibility.
Having a crystal-clear comprehension of the tasks that need to be completed. At this moment, the matter that should be the primary focus of attention should be protecting the local community from the potentially catastrophic effects of climate change. This is the most crucial issue that should be the primary focus of attention. The conferring of the burden of leadership upon a particular individual. Certain people, staff members, groups of workers, and other experts will each take on a portion of particular responsibilities delegated to them. These tasks will be handed down to them. Third, collect information regarding the legal obligations associated with the area of interest that is the research subject currently being conducted. When someone can instruct others by drawing on previous experience and present templates, that person gains a significant advantage over their rivals and can achieve their goals more easily. Fourth, make a strategy that will properly guide your first steps. Politicians are the ones who are initially tasked with the responsibility of establishing policies. Still, for those policies to be transformed into laws, they must first be scrutinized by a group of subject matter experts. The demand for increased regulation is becoming more acute, as is the desire for greater regulation. This will ensure that emissions into the atmosphere are kept under control. Fourth, the decision-makers need information indicating the frequency of health problems produced by climate change from various stakeholders, such as the ministry of health, to make decisions founded on correct information. This enables the decision-makers to make decisions that are based on accurate information. The federal government must take an active part in the many initiatives being undertaken to protect the environment, given that the funding for these endeavors comes mainly from the federal government. In this conversation, the participation of non-governmental organizations, more usually referred to as NGOs, is another crucial aspect to consider.
Impacts on Healthcare Delivery System
Technology can benefit public health since it may cut carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The negative effects of global warming will be alleviated directly due to a natural decline in global temperature (Patz & Frumkin, 2016). The final impact will be the maintenance of a population that is, on the whole, in good health.
Conclusion
The adverse consequences on health brought on by climate change are spreading across the entire planet at an alarming rate. In several countries, extremely tight limitations on carbon dioxide emissions exist. One of these countries is China. The consequences of climate change already have a substantial impact on people’s lives daily, and the government needs to take more safeguards to protect its population from the effects of these changes. The focus of environmental health policies is the study of how a range of settings might impact human health. As a result, human health and the environment are intimately connected. Policies about environmental health study the myriad ways a variety of settings can affect a person’s health. The development of a substantial number of the policies has been led by governments and organizations that are not for profit and committed to tackling public and environmental health issues.
